WILLIAMS COLLEGE DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position in any area of Psychology, beginning July 1, 2019. Applications are welcome in any area of specialization in psychology, but the candidate should have expertise in teaching statistics and research methods. The teaching load would likely be two sections (one per semester) of an undergraduate methods/statistics course with an accompanying lab. The college and department provide numerous mentoring opportunities and support in teaching and research for visiting faculty. We are particularly interested in attracting and welcoming candidates from under-represented groups, and hiring candidates who can work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds. Qualifications

Candidates should have a PhD at the time of appointment. Applicants are expected to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring undergraduate students, particularly regarding quantitative and methodological skills.
