Job Description:

The Western Kentucky University Psychology Department (www.wku.edu/psychology/) is seeking a qualified applicant for a Visiting Assistant or Associate Professor position in the Psychology Department. Employment begins with the Fall 2019 Semester. The one-year appointment may transition to a regular tenure-eligible position contingent upon the availability of funding as well as recommendation of the department, dean, and provost approval.


Responsibilities for the position include oversight of the Bachelor's concentration in Forensic Psychology (https://www.wku.edu/psychology/psy_undergrad.php), teaching undergraduate coursework, conducting scholarly research and publishing, engage in appropriate university and professional service, and advising undergraduates.

Requirements:

Position Qualification: Applicants must have an earned doctorate in Psychology with an emphasis in Forensic Psychology. Applicants must demonstrate the potential for excellence in teaching and to maintain an active program of scholarly research.
