The Department of Psychology at Texas Christian University invites applications for two positions.(1) Tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Behavioral Cognitive Psychology, and a(2) Tenure-track Associate Professor position in Developmental Psychology, both positions beginning in August 2019.The positions will add to the 15 tenured faculty members who oversee a Ph.D. program in Experimental Psychology.New faculty receive competitive salaries, start-up packages, and lab space. Candidates for both positions will be expected to supervise the research of graduate students, teach classes at graduate and undergraduate levels (3 courses/year) in their area of expertise, and the ability to teach graduate-level courses in statistics is desirable. At the Assistant Professor level, candidates should have the potential for extramural funding for research, and a record of extramural funding is required for the Associate Professor position. The candidate for the Associate Professor position is expected to work in close collaboration with faculty and staff of the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development (child.tcu.edu).
