Tenure Track Assistant Professor in School Psychology
The Department of Psychology at Syracuse University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to join their APA- and NASP-accredited School Psychology Program. Successful candidates will show evidence of (1) high quality scholarship (2) potential to build a vigorous program of funded research (3) teaching excellence at both the graduate and undergraduate levels and (4) excellence in engaging graduate and undergraduate students from a diversity of backgrounds in research. Area of research specialization in school psychology is open, but preference will be given to candidates with substantive interests in prevention science (e.g., school mental health; SWPBS), school- or hospital-based consultation, or pediatric school psychology. Candidates should be eligible for licensure as a psychologist in the state of New York. Responsibilities of the position include maintaining an active program of research, teaching and advising at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and service to the department and university.
