The University of Wisconsin-Center for Tobacco Research and Intervention (UW-CTRI) is hiring a Research Scientist. The Research Scientist will be a key member of the research team at UW-CTRI, a nationally recognized leader in the science of tobacco treatment and the use of innovative data collection methods in research. Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, this position will help coordinate multiple research projects addressing tobacco use from protocol development through publication and protocol closure. They will oversee and facilitate the rigorous implementation of research projects, help to obtain approvals to conduct the research and ensure that the research conforms to pertinent regulations and best practices. They will help to prepare research products (e.g., presentations, publications, reports). Candidates must have research experience, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, and be able to work effectively and take a leadership role in a research team. Master's degree required, PhD preferred; Degree in psychology, public health, other behavioral science or scientific field required. Other required: Minimum five years of experience working in human subjects research (including years of graduate training); Experience working in a team environment. Minimum: $50,000/annual.
