PSYCHOLOGY POST-DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS

The Department of Psychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center anticipates openings for our Postdoctoral Fellowship in Psychology with placements in the Anxiety Disorders Service and Behavioral Medicine Service to begin the summer of 2019 (start date flexible). Training focuses on science-practice integration and on empirically supported treatments with a focus on cognitive-behavioral (including “third-wave” cognitive behavioral) interventions. Research opportunities are available and encouraged. All requirements for degree, including an APA or CPA-accredited graduate and doctoral clinical or counseling psychology internship program, and dissertation defense, must be completed prior to start date. The fellow will be required to maintain a minimum clinical caseload of 20 outpatient contact hours per week.
Anxiety Disorders Fellowship/Robert Brady, PhD supervisor: Fellowship training includes advanced diagnostic evaluation and case conceptualization using functional analysis and empirically-supported assessment measures, and treatment services using cognitive-behavioral therapies, with an emphasis on exposure-based treatment. Clinical problems treated in this service include obsessive-compulsive disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder, in addition to those disorders included under the DSM-5 category of Anxiety Disorders. Behavioral Medicine Fellowship/Sivan Rotenberg, PhD and Jan Seville, PhD supervisors: The Behavioral Medicine Service offers specialty training in Obesity & Bariatric Medicine, Sleep Medicine, Oncology, and Chronic Pain. Fellows have the opportunity to participate on multidisciplinary teams and to get involved in related clinical and research projects based on interest, training goals, and need. Fellows also provide some brief evidence-based therapy for general behavioral medicine referrals. Sivan.Rotenberg@hitchcock.org
