The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center is seeking a licensed psychologist or individual eligible for licensure in the State of Oklahoma at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The successful candidate will provide direct clinical services in the area of pediatric psychology. The successful candidate will also participate in the education and training of healthcare professionals, and participate in programmatic research. Minimum qualification and specialty training will include a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, licensed as a psychologist or license eligible in the State of Oklahoma, and experience in research or research training or experience in program development.
The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center includes seven colleges and seventeen other institutions and serves as our state’s principal medical education and research facility. The Department of Pediatrics is composed of 16 sections and approximately 190 faculty members and is based at the Children’s Hospital of Oklahoma, which is the only comprehensive tertiary and quaternary health care facility in the state dedicated to the care of children. The faculty shares a common commitment to serving and protecting the well-being of the state’s children as well as providing a quality education to trainees.
