Psychologist for Groden Center for Autism: Rhode Island
Position available for Psychologist (and BCBA preferred) to work at the Groden Center in Providence, RI. Providence is the home of Brown University, an exciting arts community, and many other restaurants and attractions. It is close to beaches and one hour from Boston. The Groden Center has an international reputation for providing innovative treatment and education, and for research in the area of autism. We are seeking a broad-based clinical psychologist (with behavioral experience or BCBA preferred but not essential) with experience with persons with autism and developmental disabilities. The position can be tailored to the interests of the successful applicant, and can include a combination of applied work (training staff and observing students in classrooms, functional behavior assessment, writing and reviewing behavior programs, etc.), consultation to schools, psychological evaluations, individual and group therapy, and/or research activities. Research projects may be determined by the applicant's interests and background. The position may include supervision of BCBA's in training and consultation with residential programs, all in a collegial, positive and supportive environment.
