Greenville Health System (GHS), the largest healthcare provider in South Carolina, is currently seeking a full-time Pediatric Psychologist with experience treating pediatric pain to join a growing interdisciplinary pediatric pain program. This collaborative program has a Pediatric Pain Physician, Physical Therapists, and a part-time Pediatric Pain Psychologist. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric patients with chronic pain and headache in outpatient and inpatient settings, experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team and be knowledgeable in techniques for management of pain and anxiety. Clinical activities include interdisciplinary evaluations, inpatient and outpatient therapy, biofeedback training, and collaboration with schools and health care providers. GHS also has a pediatric psychology fellowship with many teaching opportunities. Applicants must have a doctoral degree and be licensed or license-eligible in the state of South Carolina.

GHS employs 16,000 people, including 1100+ physicians on staff. Our system includes clinically excellent facilities with 1,627 beds across 8 campuses. GHS currently hosts 14 residency and fellowship programs and a 4-year medical education program: University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville, located on GHS’ Greenville Memorial Medical Campus. We also have a separate research facility.

The Children’s Hospital includes a 12 bed PICU, 80 bed Level-3 NICU, and a dedicated Pediatric ER. With experienced doctors representing more than 35 pediatric specialties, GHS offers more comprehensive "whole child" care than many of the country's major medical centers.

Greenville, South Carolina is a beautiful place to live and work and the GHS catchment area is 1.3 million people. Greenville is located on the I-85 corridor between Atlanta and Charlotte, and is one of the fastest growing areas in the country. Ideally situated near beautiful mountains, beaches and lakes, we enjoy a diverse and thriving economy, excellent quality of life and wonderful cultural and educational opportunities.

We offer great compensation and benefit plans, malpractice insurance, and full relocation packages.

GHS is a Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program Qualified Employer!

Qualified candidates should submit a letter of interest and CV to: Tina Owens, In-House Recruiter, towens2@ghs.org, (864) 797-6240.
