The Department of Psychiatry, Yale School of Medicine seeks a licensed clinical psychologist to provide clinical services to the patients at the Yale Cancer Center. The position carries a half time to full-time faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor within the Department of Psychiatry, and includes participation in the Department’s APA-accredited Doctoral Psychology Internship Program.
Qualified candidates will possess expertise in the provision of treatment for common psychiatric disorders such as depression and anxiety and have the ability to provide psychological treatments for pain and sleep dysregulation as well as perform diagnostic assessments for complex patients. Candidates should also have interest and experience supervising predoctoral psychology interns and/or practicum students in psychological assessment. Strong candidates should have experience/expertise with a wide variety of brief symptom and neurocognitive and neuropsychological assessment measures.
Candidates must be licensed (or licensed eligible) within the State of Connecticut and have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to function well as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team of psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses.
