The Division of Developmental Medicine and the Department of Psychiatry at Boston Children's Hospital seek a full time psychologist to provide outpatient evaluation and treatment services in the Developmental Medicine Center (DMC) and to direct research assessments of studies in the Human Neurobehavioral Core. The DMC is one of the largest clinical programs for the diagnosis and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders in the US, and is dedicated to promoting research, teaching, and service innovations designed to improve the lives of children, adolescents, and families. The DMC provides services for children from infancy through adolescence who present with complex neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorders, medical and genetic conditions, intellectual disabilities, and learning, attentional, behavioral and regulatory disorders. Active participation in clinical and/or basic research is strongly supported and encouraged for applicants with research training and experience. Psychologist are actively involved in education of psychology post-doctoral fellows, developmental and behavioral pediatric fellows, and medical students. The Human Neurobehavioral Core provides centralized and efficient behavioral assessment services for clinical research studies. Services provided in the Core include consultations with senior faculty and guidance on: study conceptualization and design, grant development, IRB protocol development plus Phenotypic characterization, including direct observation, testing and parent-reported measures.

Applicants must possess a Massachusetts health service provider license in psychology prior to assuming the position and have completed two to three years post-doctoral experience. Academic appointments at Harvard Medical School at a level commensurate with clinical and research experience most likely at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level. Graduates of APA-approved doctoral programs and internships are preferred.
