Northwestern College (Orange City, Iowa) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Psychology to begin in the fall of 2019.
The ideal candidate holds a PhD in clinical or developmental psychology or related area, an established record of excellence in undergraduate teaching, a plan of research, and a commitment to the integration of faith and learning.
The successful candidate can expect to teach psychopathology, courses that contribute to the general education curriculum, including Introduction to Psychology or Child Development, and courses in one's specialty area or related areas. We seek a colleague who is interested in a high level of teaching and scholarship, and who values warm collegial relationships with departmental peers. We are a department that laughs together and that seeks to nurture the life of each faculty member as well as the lives of our students. Preference will be given to persons committed to excellence in liberal arts education and the involvement of students in research. ABDs will be considered.
