The University of South Australia is seeking to appoint a Professor in the area of Ageing or Disability to join the School of Psychology, Social Work and Social Policy.
The Professor will be a leading expert in one of the following disciplines:
- Social Policy, Social Work, Psychology, Community Services, Public Health, Social Sciences, Allied Health, Nursing, Medicine or Gerontology

To ensure we can deliver innovative and sustainable solutions, the School of Psychology, Social Work and Social Policy is introducing the Bachelor of Social Science (Ageing and Disability) program from 2019.
An opportunity exists for a dynamic Professor to provide leadership and support in the Ageing and Disability discipline, lead the development of curriculum in healthy ageing and disability services, and strengthen research capacity by building partnerships with national and international industry and peak bodies.
As a leader, you will be committed to supporting the School’s teaching and learning in ways that will enhance the student experience. With a sustained track of personal research activity and academic leadership, you will have experience in innovative teaching and an active engagement in industry and community outreach activities, with knowledge in ageing and disability.
