Postdoctoral Fellowships, Adult Borderline Center and Training Institute
The Adult Borderline Center and Training Institute at McLean Hospital is now accepting applications for one postdoctoral position that will begin in the summer of 2019.
The position will involve both clinical work and research. It will require a doctoral degree from an APA accredited program in clinical psychology and will be renewable for a second year. The clinical aspect will involve work in a long-term residential setting and use a variety of evidence-based treatments for BPD. Training in dialectical behavioral therapy, mentalization based treatment, and general psychiatric management will be offered. The research aspect will involve participation in both new and well-established projects. This position is a platform for the development of the candidate’s own program of funded research and collaborations with a number of McLean faculty and external experts will be available to facilitate this transition to independence. The successful candidates will be proposed for academic appointment as a clinical or research fellow in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.
