Reporting to the Clinical Director, this position includes treating a caseload of residential, psychotherapy clients, conducting diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, psychological testing, discharge planning, and assisting in peer reviews.
Our clinical team members provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients with psychological, emotional, and/or behavior problems. They also work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans, approaches, and interventions in a residential treatment setting. We provide appropriate trauma informed therapeutic services including psychosocial screening and assessment. The duties include but are not limited to: utilizing interdisciplinary approaches to provide care coordination to parents, case managers, custodians and community providers; providing brief crisis assessment interventions; and supporting the child and family throughout the entire therapeutic process. Specific interest will be shown in candidates with family therapy experience.
APA accredited doctorate degree with APA accredited Pre-Doctoral Internship. Preference given to candidates eligible to take the EPPP licensure exam.
Candidate will have clinical experience in the treatment of trauma and experience working with children and families.
