Post-doctoral Fellowship in Clinical / Counseling Psychology
Commonwealth Psychology Associates (CPA) is seeking a full-time post-doctoral fellow in clinical/counseling psychology to join our award-winning organization and multi-disciplinary team of about 50+ full-time clinicians including Psychologists, Neuropsychologists, Psychiatrists, and Nurse prescribers, who offer a comprehensive range of services for adults, adolescents, and children. The fellowship position will be in downtown Boston.
The fellow will gain experience in evidence-based treatment approaches including CBT, health psychology/behavioral medicine, biofeedback & stress management training, as well as traditional psychodynamic models. Also, the fellow will actively participate in the weekly all-discipline clinical meeting and other weekly specialty meetings such as the neuropsychology case conference meeting, the psychopharmacology meeting, the Tele-Psychology meeting, and other special interest meetings.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, the fellow will participate in a data/research project such as assisting with our ongoing Outcomes Assessment program, developing Quality Assurance protocols or other similar projects.
CPA’s team model also affords the opportunity for a fellow to learn about and gain exposure to all other CPA disciplines and services including neuropsychology, psychopharmacology and medication management, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Therapy for Depression, and more. And, the fellow will have the opportunity to learn about management and leadership. Ideal candidates enjoy being part of a team and are self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, highly professional, and fun. Position requires completion of Ph.D./Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited institution prior to start date. Completion of APA-accredited internship also required. We prefer candidates who want to transition to a permanent position after post-doc. Candidates should have skills, experience, or interest in some of the following:
- Strong clinical skills in CBT and eclectic approaches
- Clinical experience with college students and young professionals
Interest in Health & Wellness / Behavioral Medicine and/or Psychological Testing is a plus
