Llorente.  Opportunities for program development and professional growth including participation in the accreditation of a postdoctoral fellowship that will seek APPIC and APA accreditation and a current APA-approved Psychology Internship Training Program.  The selected candidates will reside within the Department of Psychiatry.  Although the fellowship is predominantly a clinical position, opportunities exist for scholarly productivity and teaching.  In addition, a whole day is dedicated to training and education to meet APA, Division 40 and ABPP Guidelines.  Competency development will be in skills for ages birth-18 years.

Responsibilities include evaluating a wide range of pediatric patients including children and adolescents presenting with attention problems, developmental disabilities, comorbid learning disorders, medical (e.g., cancer, genetic disorders, etc.) and neurological (e.g., brain tumors, concussions, TBIs, etc.) conditions, and psychiatric disorders.  The postdoctoral fellow will work within the framework of a multidisciplinary team in collaboration with other neurologists, pediatricians, psychologists, psychiatrists, and other professionals.

Supervision of neuropsychology technicians, other learners including interns, and graduate externs as needed is also part of this position.  Participation in weekly grand rounds in psychiatry and a case conference is also required.  We offer full administrative and technical support as well as an excellent compensation package including health and dental benefits.

Requirements:  PhD (preferred) or PsyD from an APA-approved clinical psychology graduate program; completion of a formal APA-approved psychology internship program along with training and experience in pediatric neuropsychology at the internship level meeting APA, Division 40 Criteria and graduate training in neuropsychology; license-eligibility in the Commonwealth of PA.
