The Forensic Evaluations Unit (FEU), in Charlotte, North Carolina is recruiting a full-time post-doctoral fellow for the 2019-2020 year. The FEU is part of Mecklenburg County’s department of Criminal Justice Services and conducts court-ordered psychological evaluations, including adolescent adjudicative competency, adolescent risk assessment, parenting capacity and adult incompetency/guardianship. This position is designed to meet the criteria for licensure in the state of North Carolina. Applicants seeking licensure in other states can likely be accommodated.
Applicants must have completed their doctoral degree program and demonstrate interest in forensic psychological assessment with strong testing, interviewing, and report writing skills. Preferred candidates are those with experience in forensic psychology, especially working with juveniles.
