University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, College of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics. Will practice at OU Children’s Physicians, and The Children’s Hospital at OU Medical Center.


The Jimmy Everest Section of Hematology/Oncology in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center is seeking a licensed psychologist or individual eligible for licensure in the State of Oklahoma at the Assistant Professor level.

The candidate will provide direct clinical services to pediatric patients and their families in the area of pediatric hematology/oncology, participate in the education and training of medical and psychology trainees, and maintain active research participation. Minimum qualifications and specialty training will include a doctoral degree in clinical psychology, licensed as a psychologist in the state of Oklahoma, a minimum of 3 years of experience in pediatric hematology/oncology research and clinical services.

This Assistant Professor level position will be located in the Jimmy Everest Section of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology within the Department of Pediatrics at the OU Health Sciences Center. The Department of Pediatrics is a multifaceted department with 16 sections and approximately 200 faculty members. The faculty constitutes the principal medical staff of the Children’s Hospital at the OU Medical Center and shares a common commitment to serving and protecting the well-being of the state’s children as well as providing a quality education to trainees.

Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with prior experience.
