Union College is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, open-rank, non-tenure track teaching position (with possibility of becoming tenure track) preferably starting in January, 2019.
Candidates must have a PhD or PsyD in Psychology, be Licensed in Clinical Psychology and approved supervisor for Clinical Psychology in the state of Ky.
We seek individuals who are student-centered and committed to quality undergraduate and graduate teaching. Teaching load is four - five classes per semester, at both undergraduate and graduate level.
Union faculty are also responsible for student advising, committee work, participation in departmental and college service activities, and engagement in professional development activities. Knowledge and use of educational technologies and on-line teaching is expected.
The Psychology Department (https://www.unionky.edu/departments/department-psychology), has a friendly and collaborative collective, and, in its newly remodeled building, rooms specially designed for individual and group psychotherapy that students use under qualified supervision. At this time, psychology graduate students offer limited psychotherapy services to the Union College students, and there is a vision for expanding the offering of therapeutic services to the community at large.
