Behavior Management Associates (BMA)( www.behaviormgt.com) is a multi-disciplinary group private practice seeking a psychologist and a neuropsychologist to meet the demands of an expanding practice. BMA was established in 1982 and currently employs six Psychologists, one Licensed Professional Counselor, and a Licensed Social Clinical Worker. All support services are provided including clerical, physical facility, and marketing.
BMA has an opening for a neuropsychologist. BMA has an established referral network mostly consisting of local neurologists with other referrals sources being primary care physicians and attorneys. Licensure supervision is available if needed. There is currently no neuropsychologist providing services in our area.
BMA also has an opening for a full-time psychologist who is licensed or in their post-doctoral residency year and is eligible to be a provisionally licensed psychologist. A typical caseload would include individual and family therapy, marriage counseling, and psychological and educational evaluations. Initially, the psychologist we employ may see clients of all ages and provide a wide range of services including assessment services. However, as the practice builds, the person filling the position will be free to limit their practice to whatever specialty areas or age groups they wish.
Our current client population is primarily private pay/insurance, but we also see Medicaid clients. Our office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Therapists may work evenings if they wish. Currently all therapists work on a percent of collections basis. Behavior Management Associates is a NHSC Loan Repayment Program site.
