Medical Director


The Medical Director will serve as the key point of medical oversight for medical affairs, clinical studies and science development. Provide primary medical insight for and review of Myriad Neuroscience educational information the pharmacogenomic product lines including clinical case studies. Develop relationships with key opinion leaders in clinical practice, research, reimbursement, and public advocacy communities. This position will report to the Vice President of Medical Affairs.


  • Build and deliver clinical content and education through targeted society channels

  • Coordinate clinical partnership and society impact initiatives

  • Provide lectures, lead discussion groups, and through meetings, phone, internet and other means

  • Educate physicians, other health care professionals, and the sales team about psychiatric pharmacogenomics and therapeutic areas relevant to the company’s products including clinical presentations at national conferences.

  • Address clinical questions from health care professionals for all products.

  • Serve as medical monitor for all Myriad Neuroscience clinical studies and lead the publication efforts for clinical studies

  • Identify the clinical gaps for science development and review science changes for clinical impact

· Keep Myriad Neuroscience informed about emerging and evolving industry trends and business forecasts.

· Facilitate and deliver scientific and medical exchanges of information and clinical research findings on products through symposia, lectures, and publications.

· Recommend and implement strategies to support Myriad Neuroscience’s strategic and financial goals.


· Medical Degree (MD or DO) and board certification in neurology/psychiatry

· Must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States

· Knowledge and therapeutic experience in psychiatry, neurology, genomics, genetics, and/or psychopharmacology

· Clinical or research experience with pharmacogenomics

· Exceptional written and verbal skills

· Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees in an energetic and time-sensitive work environment

· Team-oriented interpersonal communication skills

· Excellent time management, scheduling, and organizational skills

· Must be analytical, flexible, innovative, and self-motivated

· Must have the flexibility to work extra hours to meet departmental goals

· Direct experience in servicing customer needs by creating and communicating complex biomedical information

· Advanced presentation and computer skills in literature identification and evaluation

· Exceptional written and verbal skills
