St. Luke's Magic Valley seeks a licensed psychologist working with adults, adolescents and children to join our collegial and growing behavioral health team as we continue to expand and transform our behavioral health services. This position is located within the Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic, as an active member of a multi-disciplinary behavioral health team, including: Psychiatrists, Psychologists, and other Master's Level Therapists.
St. Luke’s Psychologists’ primary responsibilities are to provide direct patient care in the form of clinical consultation, psychological testing (if applicable to patient population), and individual, group, or family therapy to patients and their families. Services may be provided in the inpatient, outpatient, community, and/or telemedicine settings. Enjoy administrative support and scheduling, as well as immediate access to primary care physicians and specialists. Will have the opportunity to provide individual, family and group therapy. The Psychologist may serve as a member of the Autism Team, conducting psychological assessments of children referred for evaluation to this specialty team. Additionally, this NHSC qualified site boasts opportunities to support and to develop programmatic excellence in evidence-based treatment strategies such as DBT and other treatment areas. Our EMR is EPIC. Works with closely with administration, medical staff, and patients/families to grow and develop the behavioral health services at St. Luke's.

JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
- Graduation from an APA/CPA accredited school doctoral program
- Current license or eligible to obtain license to practice psychology in the state of Idaho
- Successful completion of a BLS (CPR) provider course within 4 months of employment
- Required to demonstrate leadership and possess ability to make decisions and solve problems as they arise
- Ability and willingness to demonstrate and maintain competency as required for job title and the unit/area(s) of assignment
- Excellent communication skills to include oral and written comprehension and expression
- Ability and willingness to work with employees’ growth and development needs
- Ability to manage a chaotic work environment related to changing staff levels, patient needs, including work with patients with acute, chronic, and complex disease processes, and those who are dying
- Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with standards for performance improvement and organizational values
