JOB DUTIES:
- Provides outpatient psychotherapy (family, individual and play therapy) and psychological testing
- Works with clients ages 0-18 and their families
- The Licensed Psychologist possesses knowledge and understanding of normal pediatric/adolescent growth and brain development as well as experience with pediatric/adolescent mental health diagnoses and a variety of treatment milieu and psychological tests
- May be assigned to work with specialty populations or across several clinic locations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctoral Degree in Psychology from an accredited institution
- Texas License as a Psychologist or Provisionally Licensed Psychologist
- Training in child growth and development required. Prior experience in pediatric setting preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a desire to develop outstanding leadership skills
- Demonstrate commitment to high standards of patient care and customer relations practice
- Maintains a current, valid Texas State License to practice psychology as a Licensed Psychologist or Provisionally Licensed Psychologist
- CPR
- Experience with ADHD, developmental delays, mood disorders, complex psychiatric and neuropsychiatric conditions and trauma-informed care is preferred
- Understanding of the ecological, biological, genetic, and developmental factors that promote health across the lifespan is preferred
