About the Job: Under the supervision of the Regional Director, plan, develop, implement, evaluate and promote a 16-bed dual crisis treatment facility for adults with severe and persistent mental illness. The program is for adults who require 24-hour supervision and who are currently experiencing a psychiatric crisis. The program’s primary goal is to divert clients from hospitalization or act as an alternative to hospitalization and to re-integrate clients into the community.
- Direct clinical work with adult clients
- Overseeing all matters relating to client-related/clinical issues in compliance with:
- State and federal regulations
- Anka Behavioral Health, Inc. Policies and Procedures
- Contractual agreements
Professional License Required: Licensed MFT/ Licensed Psychologist
Experience Required: Understanding of how to participate in a network of community-based mental health services. Experience in planning and implementing activities in a psychosocial setting. Experience with serious mental illness. Bi-cultural/bi-lingual experience is an asset.
Experience Preferred: Four (4) years experience in mental health work; at least one (1) year in a community-based mental health setting; two (2) years’ experience in administrative supervision. Experience in crisis residential treatment is an asset.
Must have a valid CA driver’s license in good standing with proof of current auto insurance. Ability to pass pre-employment background check, Med/TB clearance.
