Bard College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin Fall 2019. This position is open area – we are especially interested in candidates who address questions about fundamental psychological processes (e.g, emotion, perception, motivation, attention), and who can include undergraduates in such work.
Responsibilities will include teaching introductory courses
and upper-level seminars in the candidate's area of expertise, as well as
Introduction to Psychological Science, and Statistics or Research Methods, and
the advising of Senior Projects.
The successful candidate will have a commitment to quality,
innovative undergraduate teaching at a liberal arts college; maintain an active
research program; contribute to the general education curriculum; and engage
