NOVA SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY (NSU) - The Department of Clinical and School Psychology invites qualified applicants for faculty positions in the doctoral programs in clinical psychology. Applicants will be reviewed for rank commensurate with experience and scholarship.
The successful candidates are expected to have a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students. Additionally they must be actively involved in scholarship with expectations to maintain an ongoing program of research publish and supervise student research. A track record of or potential to secure external funding to support research is desirable. Applicants must be licensed or license-eligible as psychologists in the state of Florida. Faculty will teach doctoral program core clinical psychology courses as well as electives in her/his own specialty areas. Faculty will also supervise doctoral psychology trainees in their clinical work.
The following specializations are sought for each faculty position: Position 1 (#997516) - a focus in the area of neuropsychology is required; Position 2 (#997183) - a specialization in clinical forensic psychology is required. This faculty position includes an administrative component relating to oversight of the forensic concentration in the clinical psychology programs; Position 3 (#993015) - the specificarea of research is open. Candidates with strengths in behavioral theory and interventions and/or applied behavior analysis are particularly encouraged to apply; and Position 4 (#997273) - area of clinical/scholarly expertise is open. Candidates with a strong background in statistics who can provide statistical consultation to doctoral students is desirable.

The Department of Clinical and School Psychology offers APA-accredited PhD and PsyD programs in clinical psychology an APA-accredited PsyD program in school psychology and a specialist program in School Psychology. Also part of the Department are 2 APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship programs and a postdoctoral residency. The Department trains students at its Psychology Services Center which serves a diverse population of children adolescents and adults through its general and faculty-directed specialty clinical training programs.
