The Family Institute at Northwestern University is celebrating 50 years of strengthening and healing families and individuals from all walks of life. As an affiliate of Northwestern, The Family Institute brings together a vast concentration of knowledge and expertise to provide a range of clinical services, train the next generation of counselors and therapists, and conduct research into psychotherapy effectiveness. Opportunities are currently available for full- and part-time clinicians experienced working with individuals, couples, children and families in one or more of our four offices in Chicago, Evanston, Northbrook, Westchester.

We are seeking doctoral-level and master-level clinicians (LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, PhD, PsyD) who are licensed or license-eligible in Illinois. We’re proud to offer a full benefits package plus opportunities each week for professional development, consultation and supervision with skilled colleagues.
Primary responsibilities include effectively managing a clinical caseload collaborating with your Clinical Services team, investing in your professional development, and building your clinical practice within Chicagoland. Opportunities for teaching, clinical supervision, and program design & coordination may be available for qualified applicants.
Evening and weekend hours may be required depending on the job description. Excellent benefits and a competitive salary, commensurate with experience are offered.
