The Department of Psychology at Georgia State University will be hiring an Academic Professional with the primary job duty being the Director of the Regents Center for Learning Disorders at Georgia State University. This full time, non-tenure track faculty position in the Department of Psychology will also include some instructional responsibilities. Administrative duties include serving as the Director of the Regents Center for Learning Disorders at Georgia State University. The Regents Center serves 11 state colleges and universities in Georgia, and is one of three such Centers in the University System of Georgia. The Regents Centers provide comprehensive neuropsychological assessments, consultative services, and research and policy development related to students with disabilities enrolled in public colleges and universities in the state of Georgia. The Director is responsible for oversight of all Center activities, including supervision of professional and clerical staff and doctoral-level practicum students, budget management, implementation of policies and procedures for students with disabilities, collaboration with other Regents Centers in Georgia, consulting with other relevant state and federal agencies on disability policy, and overseeing data management and use. Instructional duties in the Department of Psychology include clinical supervision and classroom instruction of doctoral students in clinical psychology, as well as support of students' research related to learning disabilities.
