Required Degree: All positions require a PhD in psychology or a related field by the appointment date.

Qualifications: The Department of Psychology, Brigham Young University, invites applicants of any academic rank to fill full-time (continuing faculty status) professorial-track positions in the Department of Psychology to begin Fall Semester 2020. The selected candidates will demonstrate strong research skills and an active research program with an established record of peer-reviewed publication and scholarly productivity. Successful candidates will also show commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching and mentoring.

We specifically seek applicants in Development Psychology and Cognitive Psychology for this hiring cycle. Our department values diversity, student mentoring, a collegial culture, and the ideals of open and reproducible research.

Duties/Expectations: Selected candidates are expected to have a well-defined research agenda with professional publications, have the ability to teach upper- and lower-level undergraduate classes and graduate classes, to provide undergraduate and graduate mentoring, and to engage in citizenship responsibilities in the department, college, and university.
