The CALIFORNIA SCHOOL OF PROFESSIONAL PSYCHOLOGY (CSPP) at Alliant International University offers APA-accredited doctoral programs (PsyD and PhD) in Clinical Psychology at five campuses in California, a Clinical Counseling master's program at two campuses in California, COAMFTE-accredited master's and doctoral programs in Marital and Family Therapy at four campuses in California, a national postdoctoral master's program in psychopharmacology, and international programs in Hong Kong, Japan and Mexico.

The PsyD Program in Sacramento, California invites applications to join our APA-accredited program as a core faculty member with either an Assistant or Associate Professor rank. We may be able to open two positions; one with funding already approved and the other pending approval. Our Psy.D. program offers excellent generalist training incorporating multiculturalism throughout the curriculum that was just reaccredited by APA Commission on Accreditation with the next site visit in 10 years. Although the area of clinical and/or research expertise is open, we are particularly interested in candidates who are able to chair dissertations and qualified to teach one or more of the following courses: Cultural Diversity; Introduction to Psychotherapy; Foundations of Clinical Practice; Consultation; Theories of Personality and Psychotherapy; Intellectual Assessment; and/or Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. Stronger candidates will have a cross specialization with social justice or a cultural group. This position will begin Fall Semester, 2020. The position requires evidence of or promise of excellence in graduate level teaching, capability to supervise doctoral research, a record of scholarship, clinical expertise, and a commitment to multicultural training. Candidates must hold a PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA accredited program; California license or license eligibility as a psychologist in California is required by the time the position begins.
