The Department of Psychiatry, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Bradley Hospital in Providence, RI, is seeking Clinical Psychologists to work in our Inpatient and Partial Hospital programs. Opportunities exist for Brown University Alpert Medical School faculty appointments and participation in psychology training as well as clinical research.



Adolescent Inpatient Unit Position: The AIU is a multidisciplinary unit that aims to integrate empirically supported approaches into clinical care for youth ages 11-18. Responsibilities include diagnostic assessments, individual therapy, family consultation, consultation to the multidisciplinary team, and development of behavior plans. Research opportunities are also available for program evaluation, data analysis, and manuscript submission.



Children’s Partial Hospital Position: CPHP is a multidisciplinary partial hospital program for children and their families ages 7-12. Responsibilities include empirically based individual, group, and family treatment, as well as consultation and assessment. Opportunities for clinical supervision and outcomes based research are available.



Outpatient Psychology Positions: These are available at both Bradley Hospital and RI Hospital/Hasbro. Although the specific areas of specialization are open, we are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents in the following areas: eating disorders, feeding/GI, pain, gender diversity, DBT, and general child & adolescent psychiatry.


All programs offer opportunities to provide clinical supervision as well as to join an active clinical research team.


Candidates for both positions must have a PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology and be licensed or license-eligible in Rhode Island.
