The Department of Psychiatry, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry of Alpert Medical School, Brown University is seeking Clinical Child and Pediatric Psychologists to work in our Outpatient programs (RI Hospital/Hasbro Children’s Hospital and Bradley Hospital) and Pedi-Mind Program (Bradley Hospital). Opportunities exist for Medical School faculty appointments and participation in psychology training as well as clinical research.
Outpatient Psychology Positions: These are available at both Bradley Hospital and RI Hospital/Hasbro. Although the specific areas of specialization are open, we are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents in the following areas: eating disorders, feeding/GI, pain, gender diversity, DBT, and general child & adolescent psychiatry.
PediMIND Psychology Position: Works as part of multi-disciplinary PediMIND research team (www.pedimind.org) to provide semi-structured research interviews, coupled with outpatient clinical work and opportunities for data analysis, manuscript submission, and career mentorship. Clinical and research experience with children required. No requirement for independent research funding.
Candidates for both positions must have a PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology and be licensed or license-eligible in Rhode Island.
