Clinical Psychologist Position
The Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Psychiatry seeks an entry-level psychologist for a full-time position with the MGH Child Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Psychiatry Gender Identity Programs, to begin in winter/spring 2019, pending credentialing and insurance empanelment. The Psychiatry Gender Identity Program, which serves transgender and gender-diverse children, adolescents, and adults across the lifespan, is growing and we are enthusiastically recruiting talented young faculty to join our team. The applicant will also see patients through the Child CBT Program, which serves youth ages 3-24 years with a range of anxiety, OCD, mood, and behavioral disorders. Preference will be given to applicants who have training and experience in evidence-based treatments for posttraumatic stress disorder.
- Although the position is primarily clinical in focus, there are opportunities to develop research, dissemination, and training interests. The positions also include a junior faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School.
- Applicants should have a Ph.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA/CPA accredited program; must have completed a child internship; and should have expertise treating children, adolescents and adults of all ages using cognitive-behavioral therapy. Applicants should be licensed or license eligible in Massachusetts.
