We are seeking a full-time clinical psychologist for the Division of Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The Division of Psychology is home to more than 30 clinical and research psychologists and has an APA-accredited clinical psychology internship and an APPIC-approved postdoctoral fellowship program. Qualified applicants should have specialty training, education, and clinical experience in clinical health psychology. Applicants should be licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist with health service provider designation in Tennessee. The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is committed to building a culturally diverse community and strongly encourages applications from minorities and members of other underrepresented groups. 


This position is intended to develop new services in psychological assessment and consultation in executive health assessment as part of a multi-disciplinary team. It is recommended that applicants have experience in corporate health, emotional well-being and positive psychology, stress/burnout, and mindfulness and other coping techniques. The focus of these assessments is optimizing mental health and enhancing coping skills.


This position may include opportunities for clinical teaching and supervision and teaching seminars for trainees in psychology and psychiatry. There may also be opportunities to be involved in research activities, either joining existing projects or conducting independent research.


The position is full-time and would have a primary appointment in the Vanderbilt Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
