Clinical Neuropsychology and AgingAssistant/Associate ProfessorUniversity of California Irvine The Department of Psychology and Social Behavior and the Institute for Memory Impairments and Neurological Disorders (UCI MIND) at the University of California Irvine invite applications for a tenure track faculty position in clinical neuropsychology and aging. The position will be at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Ideal candidates will be experts in aging and cognition whose research and interests would complement other areas of strength within the Department of Psychology and Social Behavior including developmental psychology health psychology affective science and psychology and the law. We especially welcome applicants with a demonstrated interest and track record of productive research in the area of aging and neurodegenerative disease. High priority will be given to candidates with a track record in Alzheimer's disease research who can work closely with UCI's NIA-funded Alzheimer's Disease Research Center Clinical Core. Successful candidates for this position will have an outstanding record of research as well as evidence of excellent teaching and mentoring the ability to attract extramural funding and a commitment to equity and diversity. ABOUT OUR DEPARTMENT: The Department of Psychology and Social Behavior at the University of California Irvine offers a Ph.D. in Psychology and Social Behavior with a primary specialization in one of four core areas: developmental psychology health psychology social/personality psychology and affective science. Development of a concentration in clinical psychology is in progress. We also offer a graduate emphasis in psychology and law.
