• PhD or PsyD from an APA-approved program in Clinical Psychology AND two-year postdoctoral fellowship/residency in Clinical Neuropsychology required
• Eligibility for board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology
• Licensed Psychologist in state of Georgia or eligible for licensure in state of Georgia
The neuropsychologist will primarily be responsible for maintaining an inpatient assessment/treatment service in our Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) neurorehabilitation program, which includes a Disorder of Consciousness Program for patients who are semi-comatose or minimally conscious. The neuropsychologist will have opportunities to work with patients with a wide variety of neurological conditions (e.g., TBI, CVA, brain tumor, hydrocephalus, anoxic brain injury, encephalopathy). The neuropsychologist will also maintain an outpatient practice consisting of neuropsychological evaluations in the Shepherd Center outpatient neuropsychology clinic. The department also has an APPCN Fellowship (typically 2 fellows), and the neuropsychologist at times might be responsible for supervising and mentoring postdoctoral fellows, as well as practicum students from local Universities.
