The All Star Children’s Foundation (ASCF) is building an innovative, state-of-the-art campus in Sarasota, FL, dedicated to providing children who have experienced abuse and/or neglect with individualized, comprehensive, and evidence-based, trauma-informed care. The 5-acre campus will house six family-style licensed foster homes, an on-site Clinic and Treatment Center, a community recreation center, and various enrichment programs. Trauma-informed care principles of safety, trust, choice, empowerment, and collaboration will be infused into every program and activity offered to children on the All Star Campus. We are seeking a Clinical Director (PhD or PsyD in Psychology) to develop and implement a comprehensive array of trauma-informed, evidence-based assessment and therapy services for children birth to 18 with child welfare involvement. The Clinical Director will carry a clinical caseload, lead an interdisciplinary team of treatment providers, supervise Masters-level clinicians, contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based intervention practices, serve on the organization’s trauma-informed workgroup/implementation team, and collaborate with JHACH on program evaluation and research projects.
The All Star Children’s Foundation is seeking an individual that encompasses an understanding of the 5 pillars of a trauma-informed culture: Trust, Choice, Safety, Empowerment, and Collaboration. We believe that we will offer the greatest potential for children to heal from trauma by creating an environment whereby all aspects of service delivery and organizational culture are rooted in a trauma-informed approach. The Clinical Director will be responsible for providing vision and leadership to ensure quality trauma-informed services and provisions for all clients. The Clinical Director will have the responsibility for upholding the mission and vision of the All Star Children’s Foundation, along with the knowledge of company history, culture, identity, and goals.
This position requires a Doctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) and current Florida Psychologist License (or license eligibility in the state of Florida). The ideal candidate will have considerable experience providing evidence-based, trauma-informed assessment and intervention services, as well as advanced training and/or certification in evidence-based trauma interventions (e.g., TF-CBT, ARC, PCIT, SPARCS, etc.). Preference will be given to candidates with supervisory experience; a demonstrated track record in program development, performance management, and research; and prior experience working in interdisciplinary settings.
