Clinical Assistant Professor (Psychological Services Center (PSC) Director)

The Department of Psychology at The Ohio State University seeks a Clinical Assistant Professor to serve as Clinic Director of the PSC. The PSC is housed within the Clinical Psychology Program at OSU which is accredited by both the American Psychological Association (APA) and Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System (PCSAS). The PSC serves the greater Columbus community and the University community by providing no-cost treatment to a diverse client-base. Clinical psychology doctoral students benefit from excellent training in the integration of science and practice at the PSC. The Clinical Assistant Professor will be an integral member of our active Clinical Psychology Program.
The Clinical Assistant Professor is responsible for providing clinical training and supervision to graduate students in our doctoral program in clinical psychology. The Clinical Assistant Professor will also be responsible for administration of clinic operations, serving as the HIPAA compliance and Security Officer for the PSC, facilitating clinical research, providing community outreach, and maintaining community relations. Opportunities to teach clinically-oriented graduate courses are available.
Applicants must have a doctoral degree in psychology and must be licensed or license-eligible in Ohio (http://psychology.ohio.gov/Applicants/Psychologist) and have considerable knowledge of education and administration principles and considerable experience in program planning and administration. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in providing evidence-based assessment and treatment services. Clinical supervisory experience also desired. Appointment is contingent on the university’s verification of credentials and other information required by law and/or university policies, including but not limited to a criminal background check.
