Bilingual (Spanish) Neuropsychologist/Clinical Child Psychologist for Autism Program

The Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychology (CAPP) at MetroHealth Medical Center/Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine is seeking a full-time neuropsychologist or clinical child psychologist for an immediate opening in our interdisciplinary autism assessment clinic. The Division faculty provide clinical care within a pediatric setting, supervision of neurodevelopmental and child clinical psychology interns (APA accredited program), fellows, and graduate trainees. We are also involved in the education of medical students and residents as well as research and other scholarly activities. There is a strong tradition of interprofessional, integrated care service delivery models in this academic health system.

For the current position, we are seeking candidates with experience in the assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) [i.e., formal training or willingness to achieve reliability on all ADOS Modules] in both English and Spanish to provide services in the MetroHealth Autism Assessment Clinic (MAAC). The MAAC Clinic is an interdisciplinary clinic providing high-quality, timely diagnostic and assessment services to individuals across the lifespan with suspected ASDs who are primarily on Medicaid.

Candidates who can support ASD assessments and EITHER additional provision of bilingual behavioral intervention services (e.g., cognitive behavioral interventions, group social skills training, parent-child interaction treatments) OR neuropsychological evaluations for Spanish speaking individuals aged 3 to 18 years will be considered.

Qualifications include the following: fluent Spanish and English verbal communication skills, a Ph.D./Psy.D. from an APA-accredited clinical psychology graduate program with primary interest and background in pediatric/child clinical psychology, child/pediatric internship in an APA accredited program, completion of a neuropsychological or child clinical post-doctoral fellowship, license eligibility in Ohio by start date. We can provide additional training and supervision for candidates to achieve reliability on ADOS Modules. Written Spanish proficiency is not required. This full-time faculty position will have a competitive salary for academic rank.
