Description of the Role:
CHI is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist to join our multidisciplinary primary care practice. The Therapist provides high-quality, evidenced-based behavioral health services with a focus on the impact of psychosocial issues on overall health and wellness and lifestyle behavior changes in both the chronically ill and in our patients interested in preventive care. The Therapist works from a whole person perspective and as a member of a laborative team of practitioners. Candidates must have experience conducting initial evaluations, as well as providing individual and group therapy, competence in working with those with depression and anxiety and preferably with patients who have co-morbid medical conditions. This is a full-time position.
Qualifications include a current, active license in the state of Maryland. This position is open to doctoral and masters level candidates (Psy-D, PhD, LCSW), three to five years of experience in outpatient practice setting, preferably within a primary care setting.
