The Department of Psychology at Western New England University invites applications for a faculty appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor beginning September 1, 2020. We seek an outstanding teacher and scholar to join our nationally recognized doctoral and master’s programs in Behavior Analysis in the Department of Psychology.
Energetic applicants that have not previously received tenure will be considered at the rank of Associate Professor without tenure (tenure-track). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing an independent research program that provides collaborative opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students. The research area is open, and we encourage applications that will complement and broaden existing areas of expertise. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellence in research and scholarly contributions. The candidate will be responsible for teaching five courses per year. Additional reductions are possible through the university’s generous faculty development program. Teaching responsibilities include graduate and undergraduate core courses in Applied Behavior Analysis. The candidate will have the opportunity to develop graduate and undergraduate offerings in their specialty. The department places a premium on high-quality pedagogy. Successful candidates will demonstrate effective teaching and mentoring potential for both graduate and undergraduate students and a commitment to an inclusive learning environment.
