Assistant Professor – School Psychology.
Tenure-track Faculty Position in School Psychology, 9 month appointment. Candidates must have a PhD in School Psychology in hand by hire date (from an APA-accredited program and completed an APA-accredited internship) and must be licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist in New Mexico. Applicants should provide evidence of an active research program that includes a strong focus on diversity, social justice, underserved populations, and mental health disparities that can enrich scholarship in these areas. Responsibilities include: teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, supervising graduate student practica and field experiences (i.e., in school and other mental health settings), conducting research that contributes to NMSU/CEP research foci and obtain external funding in these areas as well as providing academic leadership in a new PhD School Psychology Program.
