Assistant Professor of Psychology

The University of Scranton seeks an applied psychologist as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology beginning August 2020. The position requires a PhD or ABD in psychology from a regionally accredited institution with a PhD at time of appointment.

The candidate will teach statistics, research methods, and a course in one of the following specialty areas: (1) human behavioral neuroscience; (2) industrial/organizational psychology; or (3) forensic psychology. The candidate must also possess research experience in at least one of those three specialty areas. Individuals should address in their cover letter their preparation and experience to teach the aforementioned courses. Applicants should be committed to excelling in teaching, producing original research, and mentoring undergraduates in research. Potential for collaboration and joint appointment with other departments abound.
