Assistant Professor of Psychology

The University of Scranton seeks a clinical psychologist as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology beginning August 2019. The position requires a PhD or ABD from an APA/CPA-accredited clinical psychology program and internship with a PhD at time of appointment. The candidate will specialize in health psychology, forensic psychology, or clinical neuropsychology.

Teaching will include courses in abnormal psychology, psychological testing, and one of those 3 specialty areas. Individuals should address in their cover letter their interest and preparation to teach the aforementioned courses.

Applicants should be committed to excelling in teaching, producing original research, and mentoring undergraduates in research. The department can furnish supervision toward psychology licensure, if desired.
