Assistant Professor of Psychology

 

Tenure-stream, full-time position at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Psychology. The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, founded in 1927, is the first and largest regional campus of the University of Pittsburgh. Responsibilities: 

Responsibilities include a 12-hour teaching load per term and an active research program including supervision of undergraduates, along with departmental, divisional, and college-wide service activities. Teaching duties include Introductory Psychology, clinical-related courses including Psychopathology, Models of Therapy, Tests and Measurements, and other courses in one’s specialty area. Experience or interest in teaching Child Development is preferred.

 

 

Qualifications include: 

  • Applicants must have a doctoral degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology or a related field by August 2019
  • Teaching Experience
  • Experience conducting research

 


Starting Date: August 2019
