Frostburg State University, Department of Psychology, seeks applications for the full-time, tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Psychology in Clinical/Counseling Psychology. Position to begin Fall 2019. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes University System of Maryland benefits package.

Teaching in the undergraduate and graduate psychology programs (12 credits per semester): Introduction to Counseling (1-2 sections), Internship Seminar (1-3 sections), Individual Assessment, and a course to be determined. Oversight of the Psychology Undergraduate Internship Program. Student advising and possible mentorship of Psi-Chi. Should show a commitment to sponsoring research, fostering a climate accepting of students from diverse backgrounds, and integrating multicultural issues into courses.
Doctorate in Counseling/Clinical Psychology, preferred from an APA-accredited program. License eligibility in the State of Maryland as a Psychologist or LCPC. Commitment to excellence in teaching. The successful candidate must have a commitment to diversity, inclusion and civic engagement.
