Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology


The Psychology Department at Ohio University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in Clinical Psychology at the assistant professor level. Priority will be given to candidates who will contribute new areas of expertise that our department desires (substance use, early childhood) and that overlap with existing areas of research currently conducted in the clinical section (clinical child, clinical health, clinical neuropsychology, emotion regulation, interpersonal processes, school mental health, stress/trauma). Expertise in diversity as it pertains to any of these areas (e.g., sexuality/gender, age, disability, socioeconomic status, race/ethnicity, religiosity) is encouraged but not required. Responsibilities include maintaining an active, high quality, fundable research program, ecting graduate student research, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, supervising graduate students in our training clinic, and participating in departmental service.

 

Candidates must be committed to working effectively with students, faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds, must have obtained a Ph.D. from an APA-accredited clinical psychology program, and must have completed an APA or CPA-accredited clinical internship.
