MULTIPLE, TENURE-TRACK ASSISTANT PROFESSOR POSITIONS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI. The Department of Psychology at The University of Mississippi anticipates hiring two faculty in CLINICAL psychology and one in SOCIAL or COGNITIVE to address retirements and expand our faculty. The area of research specialization is open, but we anticipate that at least one of these hires will join a cluster of psychology faculty focused on health issues or diversity science research.
Applicants for all positions must be willing to teach both graduate and undergraduate courses (including practicum supervision for clinical faculty) and be willing to recruit and mentor graduate students. Applicants should have a record of research productivity and a plan for developing and maintaining a substantive research program that could attract external funding. The successful candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. at the time of appointment in August 2019. Applicants for the clinical positions should be committed to the scientist-practitioner model and evidenced-based practice and are required to have completed an APA-accredited internship.
