Assistant Professor in Psychology. The Department of Psychology at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in clinical/counseling, cognitive, developmental, health/addiction, industrial-organizational, or social psychology. The successful candidate will be part of the first cohort of tenure-track faculty hired for the Palm Desert branch campus of CSUSB. The position begins in September, 2019.
We seek candidates with proven teaching ability who could offer a general set of undergraduate courses in psychology such as Introductory Psychology, Psychological Statistics, Research Methods, Learning and Motivation, History and Systems, Cognitive Psychology, and Biological Psychology, along with courses within the area of their Ph.D. Candidates must exhibit research potential as evidenced by engaging in publishable research in their area of expertise, and possess the capability to attract and mentor students in their research area. Potential for securing external funding is also a consideration.
